The Phoenician Resort - Scottsdale Arizona

The Phoenician Resort is a beautiful South Western themed resort nestled in the canyon's of Camel Back Mountain. The property is well equiped with 22,000 square feet of ballroom meeting and function space. Which is accompanied by 21 break out rooms and 5 exquisitly furnished executive board rooms. Fine dining and excellent customer service is a common theme at the resort. The staff here is sure to please.

The meeting space includes large foyer spaces for catered funtions, as well as numerous outdoor areas to be used also for catered events. One word of caution, since the hotel offers so much meeting space and 468 hotel rooms, the resort has a convention type feel to it. If you are looking for an intimate type setting, you should look to use the Canyon building. Which hosts a myriad of executive suites, and meeting space for up to 40 people conference style seating.

For themed events, Jokake Inn is the perfect space. The space is outdoors and is set in a desert theme with cactus and adobe style buildings. The space includes 2 large grills, one outdoor stage and a circular bar. All are permanantly placed. Be aware the space is sold with out the knowledge that additional lighting and restroom facilities are needed for groups over 400 people.

In short the property is perfect for the caliber of events that Opus manages and produces. Some quick notes: Parking is offered in vallet and self park form. Hotel room check in includes 10 terminals and 2 concierge desks. The resort also has an on site DMC office, 27 holes of PGA quality golf and a full service onsite world renown Spa.
